Making Your Home Sing Monday...

This is something I picked up from a blog I follow called Mom's The Word.  It's all about making your house a home and what you're going to do each day to accomplish that.

So, today, my plan for MYHSM is to finish my filing, shampoo the carpets upstairs, and make shopping lists (grocery, Christmas, things to do).  Not to mention that Christmas is two weeks away...TWO WEEKS AWAY!  Where does the time go?  I have to do some shopping for the boys, and finish making some of the handmade things I am doing.  We decorated our Christmas tree yesterday and put out some decorations around the house.  It looks wonderfully warm and inviting!

Isn't it funny how you can start off with just a few tasks and one thing leads to another?  It is like pulling a string on a sweater.  Because, of course, I know that I will not be able to just shampoo the carpets.  I can't shampoo the carpets without making sure all the laundry is picked up and taken to the basement, and since it is in the basement, I might as well start the darn stuff to wash.  So, we'll see how it goes, but at least I have a plan!
