This is what babycenter.com has to say about the baby this week:
How your baby's growing:
Your baby's skeleton is changing from soft cartilage to bone, and the umbilical cord — her lifeline to the placenta — is growing stronger and thicker. Your baby weighs 5 ounces now (about as much as a turnip), and she's around 5 inches long from head to bottom. She can move her joints, and her sweat glands are starting to develop.
It also says that I may be less graceful (check) and may start having crazy dreams (check). I tell ya, if there is a pregnancy symptom in any book, I have had it this time around.
Here's a picture from my 15 week ultrasound on July 15th. The poor thing looks a little squished in there, but the doc said that was normal around this time. I have another ultrasound in August and we may be able to find out what it is then.
And the bump...
