Rita's curtain...

Rita has a small window in her upstairs laundry room that the sun blasts through at certain times of the day (and can catch you by surprise if you're not careful).  I had some leftover fabric from another set of curtains that I fixed up for her and decided to embellish it a little.  It was simple and fun and I have other projects planned to hone my skills at applique.  It is really cute and we both think it would look great as and apron, so that may be next.
